The month of March is often seen as a symbol of new beginnings, growth and hope. Just as everything grows in the spring, people tend to make new plans and goals and start new journeys during this month, and QCM's engineering staff will be travelling to the 2025 Xi'an Electrical Machines and Magnetic Materials Exhibition in the next few days to visit the Magnetic Materials section, where we are very interested in permanent magnets and all kinds of magnetic materials products and production and testing equipment.

Magnetic Bars are used in a wide range of applications in industrial filtration and mineral processing to attract magnetic impurities from liquids and powders. To ensure efficient adsorption effect and good mounting suitability, there are high requirements on their diameter, straightness and surface roughness. For example, in fine chemical liquid filtration, the tolerance of magnetic rod diameter should be controlled at ±0.05 - 0.1mm, straightness error should not exceed 0.05 - 0.1mm per meter, and the surface roughness is usually at Ra0.8 - Ra1.6μm, to ensure that the magnetic rods and filtration equipment are closely fitted to prevent the leakage of liquids, and to improve the efficiency of the adsorption. The tolerance of the size of the grate magnets is generally controlled at ±0.1 - 0.5mm to ensure a close fit with the installation equipment to prevent material leakage; at the same time, the difference in magnetic strength of each part needs to be controlled within a small range to ensure the consistent adsorption effect on impurities. In industrial automation, machining and other fields, Pot Magnets are used to fix workpieces or tools. To ensure the positioning accuracy and processing stability of the workpiece, its dimensional accuracy, flatness and perpendicularity and other strict requirements. For example, for the strong magnet holders used in precision machining equipment, the flatness error needs to be controlled at ±0.01 - 0.05mm, the perpendicularity error at ±0.05 - 0.1°, and the dimensional tolerance at ±0.05 - 0.1mm to ensure the positional accuracy of the workpiece in the machining process, and to improve the machining quality.
