
First of all, the definition of magnetic surface magnetism refers to the magnetic induction intensity of the magnet surface. The surface magnetic data presented on the surface of the magnet is only the data reflection of the magnet itself to the measurement tool. However, due to the difference in liver hardness of measuring tools, there is no exact specification for the surface magnetism of magnets. It is common practice to enlarge the tolerance range of the data, or to make requirements based on the product itself.
The tool used to measure the surface magnetism of a magnet is a Gaussian meter, also called a Tesla meter. However, there is no specific standard for the products produced by various manufacturers, and the measured surface magnetic data are not the same because of the different Hall induction components and Hall induction intensity on the Gaussian meter. For example, if we use the same magnet product, we can measure it with domestic and foreign Gauss meters respectively. For example, the gauge magnetic strength measured by domestic Gauss meter is 3000 gauge magnetic strength, and the gauge magnetic strength measured by foreign Gauss meter may be about 200 more. When two magnets have the same shape and size, the magnet with higher surface magnetism will have stronger magnetism. If two magnets are different in shape or size, the magnetism of the magnet cannot be directly determined by the level of surface magnetism. This is because surface magnetism is related to the ratio of height to diameter of the magnet. The larger the ratio of height to diameter, the higher the surface magnetism. The larger the surface area perpendicular to the direction of magnetization, the lower the surface magnetism. The larger the magnetization direction, the higher the surface magnetism.
