Earth magnet hooks are highly useful and versatile tools made from N36 neodymium magnets encased in a steel cup with a threaded end hook. N36 neodymium magnets are compact yet incredibly strong; a magnetic hook with a 48mm cup diameter can generate a vertical magnetic pull of up to 180 pounds on a flat iron or steel surface. The Q235 mild steel shell is also electrolytically plated with three layers of nickel, copper, and nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) to provide maximum protection against corrosion and oxidation. Neodymium rare earth magnets are axially magnetized along their thickness, resulting in optimal vertical pull strength.
