What is the difference between Magnetic Formwork System and Precast concrete magnet?

Magnetic Formwork System and concrete box are both magnetic fixtures used in precast concrete production. They are similar in some aspects, but there are also some key differences:

1. Design and structure:

Magnetic Formwork System: usually refers to magnetic fixtures that are embedded directly into the edge of the formwork. They form an integrated design with the formwork and are specifically used to fix the edge of the formwork.

Various Types of Magnetic Formwork System

Precast concrete magnet: is an independent magnetic fixture, usually made of high-performance permanent magnet materials. They can be placed at specific locations on the formwork to provide adsorption force.

2. Application method:

Magnetic Formwork System: Because they are embedded in the formwork, they are usually used to fix longer formwork edges, provide continuous adsorption force, and keep the formwork stable.

Shuttering magnet: can be used alone and placed in different locations of the formwork as needed to fix the formwork or as a magnetic component to connect different formworks.

3. Convenience of operation:

Magnetic Formwork System: Because it is embedded in the formwork, specific tools or methods may be required to install and remove the formwork.

Magnetic Boxes: The design is usually more convenient to operate, and the magnetic force can be turned on and off by simple lever action, which is convenient for installation and removal.

4. Flexibility and adaptability:

Magnetic Formwork System: May provide better overall fixing effect, but less flexibility because they are fixed to the formwork.

Precast wall production magnet: Since it is an independent component, it can be more flexible to adapt to formworks of different shapes and sizes, and it is also convenient to reuse in different projects.

5. Economical:

Magnetic Formwork System: May be more expensive to manufacture because they need to be integrated with the formwork, but can provide a more stable fixing effect.

Magnetic shuttering: May be more economical because they are independent components, can be standardized and reused in multiple projects.

6. Maintenance and durability:

Magnetic Formwork System Shuttering magnet: Since it is embedded in the formwork, it may be more difficult to maintain and clean, but the durability may be higher.

Precast concrete shuttering magnets: Require regular inspection and maintenance to ensure the stability of the magnetic force, but they are usually designed to be easy to clean and maintain.
