Magnetic Steel Rod

Magnetic steel rods are rods with an outer layer made of steel and embedded with neodymium magnets that have the ability to attract ferromagnetic materials. Due to their magnetic properties, magnetic steel rods are commonly used in a variety of industrial screening applications for iron-containing particles.

Composition and Structure

- Material: Magnetic steel rods are usually made of neodymium magnets and stainless steel, with multiple neodymium magnet cylindrical blocks built in, and the magnetic field strength on the surface can range from 2000Gs-12000Gs.

- Magnetization: The built-in neodymium magnets are all magnetized after manufacturing so that they can maintain a strong magnetic field. The magnetization strength varies depending on the grade of neodymium magnets and the number of built-in magnets, as well as the number of odd and even arrangements within the steel tube, with odd arrangements tending to have higher magnetic field strengths than even arrangements.

Applications

- Filtration: Magnetic steel rods are commonly used in the food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries to filter iron contaminants from liquids and powders. Magnetic bars attract metal particles, ensuring product purity and protecting equipment from metal fragments.

- SEPARATION PROCESSES: Magnetic bars are an integral part of magnetic separators in manufacturing and recycling processes. They help to remove unwanted metal particles from the material during the manufacturing process.
