Concept of Ferrite Arc Magnet：

Ferrite arc magnets are a specific type of permanent magnet made from ferrite materials, ceramic compounds consisting primarily of iron oxide and strontium carbonate. They are characterized by their arc shape, making them suitable for permanent magnet DC motor applications.

Composition and Properties

Ferrite arc magnets are composed of approximately 90% iron oxide and 10% strontium carbonate, which gives them their unique magnetic properties. They exhibit ferrimagnetism, allowing them to be magnetized and retain their magnetic field over time. Unlike rare earth magnets, ferrite magnets are less powerful but are known for their high resistance to demagnetization and excellent temperature stability, functioning effectively at temperatures up to 250°C.

The working temperature is a factor to be taken into account in the different uses that will be given to the magnet.

Applications

The primary application of ferrite arc magnets is in permanent magnet DC motors. Their lower cost compared to rare earth magnets makes them ideal for mass-produced devices where performance requirements are not as stringent. Common uses include:

- Electric motors: Used in various consumer electronics and appliances.

- Loudspeakers: Serving as the magnetic source for sound production.

- Magnetic cores: Utilized in transformers and inductors due to their insulating properties.

Types and Grades

Ferrite magnets can be categorized into different grades based on their performance characteristics. Common grades include Y30, Y30BH, Y35, C5, and C8, with each grade offering varying levels of magnetic strength and coercivity. The choice of grade depends on the specific requirements of the application, such as size constraints and desired magnetic field strength.

Packing & Delivery

1. As the magnets have very strong power and attraction, and then we will use the plastic part to separate the magnets from each other, which will prevent someone will being hurt when taking it out. Then, they will be packed in a small white box, several boxes to be a carton. All of the cartons will be packed into pallets, and then we will use the truck to transport them to the China customs warehouse

2. If the goods will be shipped by air, all the magnetic should be degaussed and we will use an Iron sheet to shield.
