Fully Grouted Coupler Filled Sleeve For Rebar Connections
What is a grout sleeve connection?
Grouting sleeves are metal cylinders used for rebar connection. Two reinforcing bars are inserted from both ends of the sleeve, which is filled with cementitious grout to realize the butt jointing of reinforcing bars through the force transferring effect of the grout. Sleeves connected at both ends with sleeve grout are full grouted sleeves. Sleeves that are connected by sleeve grouting at one end and mechanically connected (e.g., by screwing) at the other end are semi-grouted sleeves. Grouting sleeve is the most important connecting member of assembled concrete structure, used for the connection of longitudinal stress steel bar. The tensile strength of the reinforcing sleeve grouted connection joint should not be less than the standard value of the tensile strength of the connecting reinforcement, and the damage should be broken in the reinforcement outside the joint.
