Magnetic Bar
General Description:
Magnetic rods are an effective method for removing ferrous shavings and metal particles from loose, free-flowing materials. Magnetic bar housings are made from 304 stainless steel tubing or 316 stainless steel tubing for filling with NdFeB magnets. We can provide magnetic bars in round or square shapes depending on the customer's specific application needs. Different end-face designs can also be provided according to actual installation requirements, such as threaded holes, screws, rings, cylinders, conical tips, etc.

Our standard bar is 25mm. ( 1 inch) in diameter and any length per customers' request up to 2500mm. Besides, we also take special orders, such as square-shaped magnetic bars.

The production process:
Neodymium magnets are composed of neodymium, iron, and boron (they are also referred to as NdFeB magnets).  The powdered mixture is pressed under great pressure into molds. The material is then sintered (heated under a vacuum), cooled, and then ground or sliced into the desired shape. Coatings are then applied if required.  Finally, the blank magnets are magnetized by exposing them to a very powerful magnetic field over 30 KOe.
